Dano’s Island Sounds also offers the contemporary sounds of the Deuterium Jazz Quartet. Deuterium plays original and classic Jazz in a fusing straight-ahead style.
Deuterium’s repertoire includes: Miles Davis, Horace Silver, Dave Brubeck, Carlos Jobim, Jorge Ben, Kenny Dorham, Henry Mancini, John Coltrane, and original compositions from our band leader Yasha Susoeff. Deuterium features the lyrical performance of Jim Weiss on tenor and alto Saxophone, Yasha Susoeff on Keyboards & Piano, Gregg Carpenter on bass, and Dano on drum-set. Traditional and contemporary Jazz sets the perfect atmosphere for your black tie affair, private party, wedding, reception, or corporate event.
